Job Title: Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Reports To: Senior Electrical Engineer or Engineering Manager

Summary / Objective

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of electrical power distribution and control systems for manufacturing facilities. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while learning from experienced engineers and working on real-world industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of electrical power distribution and instrumentation/control systems

• Support the creation of engineering documentation such as specifications, drawings, and bills of materials

• Perform basic calculations and assist in selecting electrical equipment

• Work closely with senior engineers and designers to support project delivery

• Help prepare reports, sketches, and schematic diagrams under supervision

• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and contribute to team discussions

• Support construction, commissioning, and startup activities with guidance

• Learn and apply internal engineering standards and industry best practices

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or expected within 6 months)

• Strong interest in power distribution and control systems

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to AutoCAD or similar drafting tools a plus

• Eagerness to learn and contribute to engineering projects

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take initiative

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Internship or co-op experience in an industrial or engineering environment

• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, or related codes

• Exposure to reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
