Know Your Worth PGH is a boutique financial consulting and bookkeeping firm dedicated to providing consistency, guidance, and confidence to small businesses in managing their financial outlook. 

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our clients' financial health by conducting in-depth analyses, developing financial models, and providing actionable insights. Your expertise will help drive strategic decision-making and foster financial confidence among our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:

    • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support clients' strategic objectives.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to predict future financial performance.
    • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
    • Ensure clients' books are up to date and reconciled accurately monthly. ​
  • Client Advisory:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and challenges.

    • Provide expert advice on financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.

    • Assist clients in setting and achieving attainable financial goals.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Evaluate and enhance clients' financial processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.

    • Implement best practices in bookkeeping and financial management.

    • Train clients on financial tools and processes to promote self-sufficiency.

  • Compliance & Standards:

    • Ensure all financial practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

    • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and advise clients accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a consulting or client-facing role.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.

  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Google Sheets).
