Our PA/ACNP will provide clinic, inpatient and OR first-assist coverage. Qualified candidates must have the ability to work in a collaborative environment; one that thrives in a highly integrated and innovative setting and a desire to focus on patient excellence. **We are seeking applicants with:** Board Certification as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner ACNP is required to have an RNFA certificate at the time of application o (Documentation of successful completion of surgical first assistant training as a part of curriculum in their nationally accredited nurse practitioner program OR Attendance at a surgical first assist training course sponsored by ACE, AORN, ANCC, or equivalent as approved by the facility Credentials Committee/Medical Executive Committee) Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance 1-2 years' Urology experience preferred with surgical assist skillset **Practice Details:** Full-time | M-F; 8am 5pm Clinical/Surgical position Provide care from the initial patient point of contact to pre-surgical requirements, and post-op follow-ups No Call **Joining Banner Health offers competitive salary and recruitment incentives, along with an industry leading benefits package that provides security for you and your family, including:** Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans Paid time off plans Eligible for benefits coverage within 30 days Financial savings resources Career advancement and optimal work/life balance Employee Discounts **Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (BTMC)** has served the Northwest Valley for more than 25 years with an unrelenting focus on excellent patient care. A recently completed $290 million expansion highlights BTMCs Level I Adult Trauma Center for patients 15 and older. Designation as an Arizona Level I Trauma Center means Banner Thunderbird can provide total care for every aspect of injury, reducing the need to transfer patients outside the area for life-saving treatment. Examples of injuries a Level I can treat include traumatic car crash injuries, gunshot victims, stab wounds and traumatic brain injuries.
